Game, Set, Match!

It feels like fall! I'm so excited! I love the fall. Its my favorite time of the year. I love the colors, the sweaters, the weather, everything. I decorated the apartment yesterday with the 3 pieces of fall decor that I own. I plan on getting more sometime but I guess I'll have to build my collection up.

Everything is going wonderful in the magical land of Edmond. My job is going well and Harrison is enjoying his job at the tennis shop in OKC and will be stringing rackets. I'm really happy for him because he really likes it and if his boss lets him have enough say in the store layout, he is going to completely redesign the store. Haha. He is out of control!

Speaking of fall and tennis, we have been out on the courts playing a lot. Harrison tries to teach me but I just may be a lost cause. He does a pretty good job at staying patient with me. It's so much fun though. The weather is beautiful and its really fun playing with him. Tonight, after our weekly dinner with the Alleys, we all four hit the courts and played for a while. It was a blast.

This weather puts me in the best mood. I can't wait until Thanksgiving. Or the PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST!!! This will be my 3rd one. Harrison and I won last year with our awesome Headless Horseman pumpkin. Kathryn mentioned this in her post but she is just upset because her pumpkin wasn't as good as ours. We got the prize. =]

We were able to take a few pics of the living room. but we are getting new carpet tomorrow! So our apartment will look all new. and more importantly smell all new! Haha. So, here they are!

First Post!

This is our first post! Woo!

A lot has been going on in the past month. It was only 3 short weeks ago that we had our beautiful wedding. I can't believe it. For our honeymoon, Harrison's aunt Connie was generous enough to let us stay at her lake house in Eufala. It was sooo wonderful to have a week of rest and relaxation after all the wedding planning craziness and before the school starting craziness.

After our honeymoon we headed to Edmond to our new apartment and to get ready for school the next monday. Now that I think about it, getting married a week before school starts was probably not the best idea. But everything worked out and is great now.

Our new apartment could not be more perfect. It is so nice to have a place that is our own and decorating it was so much fun. I never thought Harrison and I would come into agreement about somethings but it is really all coming together for us. We will have to post some pictures.

We are so blessed to be living in such a wonderful place with wonderful friends one building over. Some of our best friends, Eric and Lindsey, live a building over. They just got married in July so its been so much fun to have them over for dinner and a movie or go over to their place. Last night, we grilled out and watched The Dark Knight. We plan on having weekly dinners. =]
